About the Leather

Conceria La Bretagna – Black Ghost (Bordeaux): An Italian vegetable-tanned leather with a twist – it’s coated in a layer of black wax that gradually wears away to reveal a dark Bordeaux red color underneath. This “ghost” effect means the leather starts out matte black, and as you handle it, the wax rubs off in areas, creating a stunning two-tone aged look over time. The leather itself is firm and high-quality, tanned with natural plant extracts in Tuscany, so it’s built to last. As the wax patina changes, each item becomes truly one-of-a-kind.

Horween Buccaneer – Black Football: A water-resistant leather from Horween with the classic pebbled football grain texture. It’s infused with natural oils and waxes, giving it a supple medium-soft feel while remaining very durable. The rich black finish and full-grain character mean it can handle the elements and age beautifully without much hardening over time.
